Mildura Rural City Council seeks a Parks Maintenance Person to care for parks, gardens and sports fields across Mildura. This hands-on role offers outdoor work and a chance to contribute to the community.

You will join the Parks & Gardens team, applying turf/tree care knowledge and operating equipment safely while supporting a diverse, inclusive workplace. Band 2 classification with starting salary of $67,508 AUD per year.

What you will bring

Ideally the successful applicant will have the following:

• Relevant knowledge and experience in parks, gardens, turf and tree care maintenance.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following directions and contributing effectively in a team environment.
• Experience in the safe operation of plant and equipment associated with parks and gardens activities.
• Hold a current satisfactory Police Check or willing to obtain one prior to employment.
• Have the ability to submit a Certificate of Aboriginality and demonstrate your connection to country

Salary and Conditions

The position is classified within Band 2 of Council’s Current Enterprise Agreement commencing at $67,508 per annum including industry allowance plus statutory superannuation.
