Job summary

City of Moreton Bay is seeking a hands-on Labourer to support the Parks Infrastructure team in Narangba. You will perform general labouring duties, help maintain playgrounds, park furniture, shelters and other infrastructure, and work closely with a Crew Leader to ensure spaces are safe and well presented.

Ideal candidates will have recent manual labour experience, a valid MR truck licence and a Construction Induction Card, plus strong teamwork and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and physical capability to perform manual tasks safely.
• Recent experience in a manual position.
• Experience maintaining park infrastructure or undertaking similar maintenance activities (highly desirable).
• Strong communication skills and a team oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Undertake general labouring duties to keep park areas and infrastructure safe, functional and well presented.
• Maintain infrastructure including playgrounds, park furniture, shelters and shade sails, concrete areas, fences and bollards, retaining walls.
• Engage with stakeholders and the public as required and work as part of the Parks Infrastructure team.
