1300apprentice is offering a Parks & Gardens Apprenticeship (Certificate III) in Sydney, with locations across the area. No experience required and a first-year position for an outdoors-loving candidate ready to learn hands-on from experienced professionals.

You will join a friendly team, gain a nationally recognised qualification, and receive full-time paid work while you learn, benefiting from mentor support and PPE provided throughout the apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• Interest in landscaping and outdoor work.
• White Card (or willingness to obtain before starting).
• Ability to obtain a national police clearance (we pay).
• A genuine interest in landscaping, gardening, and the green industry.
• P driver's licence minimum and reliable transport.

Responsibilities

• Learn planting and maintenance of trees, shrubs, and garden beds.
• Learn mowing, edging, whipper-snipping, and mulching techniques.
• Learn soil health, turf management and plant establishment programs.
• Work across domestic, commercial and strata properties.
• Assist with garden project planning and costing.
• Safe use of tools and machinery on site.
