The role emphasizes problem-solving, accurate record-keeping in the CRM, and ability to work across multiple computer systems.

Qualifications

• Availability across a Monday to Friday roster.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional phone manner when supporting distressed clients.
• Well-developed negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Confidence using multiple computer systems simultaneously.
• Energetic, enthusiastic and able to work independently.
• Previous call centre experience is a must.

Responsibilities

• Deliver professional, accurate, and timely customer service in line with policies and privacy requirements.
• Facilitate debt clearance by offering relevant payment options and supporting infringement resolution.
• Advise the public on rights and obligations under relevant Acts.
• Provide guidance on Council processes to a wide range of stakeholders including advisers and staff.
• Accurately record call summaries in the CRM to maintain case histories.
