Job description

The Parking Compliance Officer plays a vital role in the management and enforcement of parking regulations within the Shellharbour Local Government Area. This position is essential in ensuring the safety and convenience of all community members by monitoring designated parking areas and educating the public on compliance requirements.

As a Parking Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining parking availability, ensuring adherence to road rules, and providing exceptional customer service. You will also engage in community consultations and represent the council in legal proceedings when necessary.

• Permanent full time working the following hours:
  • 38 hours per week over 5 days (9 day fortnight - 42.25hpw) during non-peak season (March – November)
  • 38 hours per week over 7 days (9 day fortnight - 42.25hpw) during peak season (December – February)
• Commencing salary range from $64,867 - $71,619 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience)

• This position requires a National Police History Check clearance.
• This position requires a current "Working with Children Check" clearance in accordance with the 'Child Protection (WWC) Act 2012 for Paid workers
