Job summary

Kingdom Financial Group is expanding its Financial Planning division and seeks one or two people to fill a Client Services Officer role, a Paraplanner role, or both. We are flexible on how the roles come together and will shape the position around the right person, working closely with our advisers to deliver high-quality advice and service that truly helps clients.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience as a paraplanner, client services officer, client service manager or similar in an Australian financial planning practice.
• Well organised, able to manage a busy workload and meet deadlines.
• Experience with financial planning software and platforms.
• A sharp eye for detail and a commitment to doing things properly.
• For Client Services: a confident, warm communicator who enjoys client contact and takes pride in looking after people.
• For Paraplanning: strong technical knowledge of superannuation, SMSFs, retirement income and insurance, with clear, accurate writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for a portfolio of client groups, building strong, trusted relationships.
• Manage the ongoing service and annual review cycle, including preparing for review meetings.
• Coordinate implementation, product applications and follow-through with platforms, insurers and fund providers.
• Keep client files accurate, audit-ready and compliant with AFSL, Best Interests Duty and AML/CTF obligations.
• Prepare compliant, well-reasoned Statements of Advice and Records of Advice across superannuation, investment, retirement and insurance.
• Research and model strategies, including contribution strategies, Transfer Balance Cap considerations, pension commencements and BDBNs.
• Work alongside advisers to translate meeting notes and client goals into clear, practical advice.
• Maintain high standards of compliance and file documentation.
