Job summary

Curtin University's School of Nursing is inviting applications from motivated individuals to join our team as an Associate Lecturer / Lecturer (Teaching Academic) for the delivery of the Bachelor of Science (Paramedicine course).

The teaching responsibilities include online, distributed and face-to-face activities; educators are expected to collaborate on curriculum design, assess student needs, provide tailored support and supervise postgraduate and honours students.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to teach effectively.
• Commitment to reflective improvement in teaching delivery.
• Understanding of pedagogical theory and contemporary educational practice.
• Willingness to contribute to scholarship in teaching.
• Ability to contribute to curriculum review and renewal.
• High-level communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Bachelor of Science (Paramedicine) using online, distributed and face-to-face methods.
• Collaborate on curriculum design and assess student needs.
• Supervise postgraduate and honours students; provide tailored support.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and related administrative tasks.
• Support first-year student transition and ensure equitable assistance for diverse populations.
