Job summary

CQUniversity Australia is seeking a motivated Lecturer in Paramedicine to join our collaborative team and help shape the next generation of paramedics. You will design and deliver learning across lectures, simulation and clinical-focused activities, bringing your industry expertise into the classroom and supporting students on campus and in the field.

You will contribute to curriculum development, unit coordination, research and scholarship while promoting ongoing professional development

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Paramedicine; postgraduate qualifications highly regarded.
• Teaching qualification or willingness to complete a Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Teaching / Education.
• Proven ability to contribute to curriculum development, writing and evaluation, particularly using flexible modes of delivery.
• Experience teaching and supervising undergraduate and postgraduate students across a range of learning environments.
• Strong capacity to engage and collaborate effectively with industry partners, community stakeholders, and professional networks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to contribute positively to team culture and academic collaboration.
• Experience in the development and delivery of low to high-fidelity clinical simulation (highly desirable).

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging learning experiences across lectures, simulation and clinical-focused activities.
• Bring industry expertise into the classroom, support students on campus and in the field, and contribute to curriculum development, unit coordination, research and scholarship.
• Through simulation, clinical learning and engaging teaching, help students build practical skills and confidence to succeed as paramedics.
