Job summary

Flinders University in Bedford Park, Kaurna Country, is seeking an Associate Lecturer (Clinical Facilitator) to lead work‑integrated learning for paramedicine students. You will coordinate clinical placements, support student learning and foster strong partnerships with healthcare partners to ensure high‑quality, safe learning experiences.

You bring a relevant degree and clinical education experience, with excellent communication and organisational skills, to mentor students, manage placement

Qualifications

• Relevant degree and clinical experience in education or WIL environments.
• Experience mentoring and supporting students in clinical education.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication with academia, healthcare and industry.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support student placements across healthcare settings, ensuring scheduling, compliance and records management.
• Monitor student learning and professional progression through coaching, feedback and assessment support.
• Build partnerships with healthcare organisations and placement providers to improve placement quality and outcomes.
• Contribute to quality assurance, accreditation and continuous improvement in clinical education and WIL.
