Job summary

City of Moreton Bay is seeking an experienced Paralegal to join our in-house legal team in Strathpine. You will assist in managing court matters, draft correspondence and court documents, and coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of briefs to external barristers.

Reporting to senior legal counsel, you will maintain templates, assist in reporting, and provide essential administrative support while upholding confidentiality and sound judgement.

Qualifications

• Extensive paralegal or legal administration experience.
• Sound knowledge interpreting legislation relating to court matters.
• Experience drafting court documents and coordinating with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Help manage and coordinate court matters and prepare related correspondence.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and brief external barristers; maintain templates and assist in reporting.
• Provide admin support including diary/calendar management and processing invoices; ensure confidentiality.
