City of Moreton Bay is seeking a seasoned Paralegal to join its growing in-house legal team in Strathpine. You will support court matters, prepare correspondence and court documents, and liaise with internal stakeholders and external barristers.

A strong background in legal administration and legislation interpretation is required. This hybrid role offers flexible working arrangements, including some work-from-home days, and opportunities to develop your career within local government while

Qualifications

• Extensive paralegal or legal administration experience.
• Knowledge of interpreting legislation related to court matters.
• Experience drafting court documents and correspondence.
• Ability to liaise with internal stakeholders and external barristers.

Responsabilités

• Assist with management and coordination of court matters.
• Prepare correspondence and court-related documents.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and collate briefs for external barristers.
• Maintain templates and assist in reporting for the legal department.
• Provide key administrative support including diary/calendar management.
• Process tax invoices and support budgeting processes.
• Act as a point of contact for legal advice requests from internal teams.
• Develop relationships with internal/external stakeholders to support quality outcomes.
• Hold a C class driver's licence.
