Job summary

Alto Body Shop in Artarmon, NSW, is seeking an experienced Panel Shop Manager to lead a state-of-the-art repair centre on Sydney's North Shore. Reporting to the General Manager, you will oversee day-to-day leadership and performance, ensuring operational excellence, quality, and profitability.

You will manage workflow, mentor a team of skilled technicians, and build strong relationships with insurers and manufacturers while upholding OEM repair standards and exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Panel Shop Manager, Production Manager or Senior Workshop Management role.
• Strong collision repair industry knowledge and technical expertise.
• Experience working within OEM‑approved repair environments.
• Proven ability to manage workflow, productivity and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Manage all workshop operations, workflow and production schedules.
• Lead, mentor and develop a team of panel beaters, painters, estimators and support staff.
• Ensure repairs comply with OEM repair methods and manufacturer standards.
• Drive productivity, efficiency and workshop performance.
