Truck Body Pro Pty Ltd in NSW is seeking a hands-on technician to repair trucks, commercial vehicles and truck bodies. You may dismantle damaged vehicles, assess accident damage and plan repairs, perform panel beating, metal straightening, welding, fabrication, and various repairs including fibreglass.

You will help prepare panels for paint and apply refinishing to a high standard. The role expects ability to work independently, maintain quality workmanship, and hold a current NSW driver’s

Formación

• NSW tradesperson licence/certificate for the work you perform.
• Experience repairing trucks, commercial vehicles or vehicle bodies.
• Strong panel beating, fabrication or body repair skills.
• Welding experience.
• Good dismantling and reassembly skills.
• High standard of workmanship.
• Ability to work independently.
• Good problem-solving ability.
• A current driver's licence.

This is a hands-on position involving the repair of trucks, commercial vehicles and truck bodies. Depending on your experience, duties may include dismantling damaged trucks and truck bodies, assessing accident damage and planning repairs, panel beating and metal straightening, removing and replacing damaged panels and components, welding and fabrication, aluminium and steel repairs, truck and pantech body repairs, fibreglass and composite repairs, preparing vehicles and panels for paint, spray painting and refinishing, riveting, bonding, sealing and panel replacement, reassembling vehicles following repairs, adjusting doors, panels and body components, completing repairs to a high professional standard, and general accident and insurance repair work. Ideally, you will be capable of taking a damaged vehicle through multiple stages of the repair process rather than being limited to one particular task.
