Job summary

Jobstar Pty LTD on the Sunshine Coast is seeking an experienced painter to join a small team. The role involves residential repainting and new builds across the Sunshine Coast, with a strong emphasis on prep, finish, reliability, and quality workmanship.

You’ll work on residential projects, bring your own basic tools, and contribute to a positive, ongoing employment environment for the right person.

Qualifications

• Solid painting experience.
• Good prep and finishing skills.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently when needed.
• Own basic tools.
• Trade qualification is great, but experience and quality of work are equally valued.

Responsibilities

• Paint residential interiors and exteriors on Sunshine Coast projects.
• Prepare surfaces thoroughly and apply finishes to a high standard.
• Work with a small team and also independently as required.
• Ensure timely completion and maintain a clean, safe worksite.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced painter to join our small team.

We’re a local Sunshine Coast business with plenty of work ahead and are currently heavily booked through the rest of the year.

We need someone who knows their way around a paintbrush, takes pride in their prep and finish, turns up when they say they will and is happy to get stuck in.

Most of our work is residential, including repaints and new builds across the Sunshine Coast.

Ideally you’ll have:

• Solid painting experience
• Good prep and finishing skills
• A good work ethic and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently when needed
• Your own basic tools
• Trade qualification is great, but experience and quality of work are just as important to us
