We’re looking for a qualified painter, experienced decorator, or motivated apprentice to join our team on the Sunshine Coast.

A day in the life at Pether’s

You’ll be part of a close team delivering high end repaints and restoration projects across the Sunshine Coast. Our systems are organised, expectations are clear, and we take pride in doing the job properly the first time.

In your day to day, you’ll:

• Work on premium interior and exterior repaint projects, including timber restoration and detailed finishes
• Follow structured systems and scopes using ServiceM8
• Work alongside experienced tradesmen and foremen who take pride in their work
• Maintain clean, respectful, and professional worksites
• Communicate professionally with clients while working in occupied homes and properties

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for people who take pride in their work, communicate well, and want to keep improving both personally and professionally.

Whether you’re a qualified painter, experienced decorator, or currently completing your apprenticeship, we’d like to hear from you.

You’ll ideally have:

• Painting experience in residential or commercial work
• Good preparation and finishing skills, or the willingness to learn
• A driver’s licence and reliable transport
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A professional attitude and presentation
• Respect for clients, teammates, and the standard of work we deliver

We’re also open to apprentices who genuinely want to learn the trade properly and be part of a long term team.
