Job summary

Trade Co is actively seeking skilled painters and plasterers to support our expansion in residential insurance repair projects. The role involves managing diverse painting and plastering tasks on internal and external sites, ensuring timely delivery and quality workmanship.

You will liaise with the repairs team, maintain safety standards, and build positive relationships with homeowners, delivering clear communications. Training is provided as part of our growth program.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified painter or plasterer with extensive residential experience.
• Ability to work autonomously or in a team.
• Strong knowledge of Australian Building Standards and codes.
• Clear police history check and medical clearance.

About the Role:

This diverse role will involve:

• Working on a variety of internal and external painting or plastering projects for residential insurance repair claims
• Managing time effectively to ensure allocated projects run to schedule and budget
• Liaising with our internal repairs team to ensure projects are completed to the highest possible quality and within safety standards
• Building positive relationships with homeowners ensuring timely and professional communications at all times.

About You:

As our successful candidate, you will possess the following:

• Trade qualified painter or plasterer with extensive residential experience
• Motivated self-starter who has the ability to work autonomously as well as in a team
• High attention to quality and detail with strong knowledge of the Australian Building Standards, Tolerances, and Codes.
• Past exposure to the insurance repair industry would be beneficial
• A clear police history check and medical clearance are required to be successful in the role
