Job summary

Bene Aged Care is seeking a qualified Painter to join our Maintenance team in a permanent full-time role. You will maintain and enhance the appearance, safety and presentation of Bene facilities across aged care homes, retirement living sites and other sites.

You will deliver high-quality painting, undertake general maintenance, follow WHS procedures and work independently across multiple sites while building positive relationships with residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in Painting and Decorating
• Minimum 2 years’ post-trade experience as a qualified painter
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks across various sites
• Current Australian Driver's License
• Current National Police Check or willingness to obtain one
• Elevated Work Platform (EWP) License (desirable)

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality painting and decorating services across Bene aged care homes, retirement living communities and facilities.
• Manage painting projects from preparation through to completion, ensuring a professional finish and minimal disruption to residents and staff.
• Undertake general maintenance and handyman duties to support the safety, presentation and functionality of Bene facilities.
• Maintain a safe, organised and compliant work environment by adhering to WHS standards, SOPs and SWMS, while ensuring all tools and equipment are properly maintained and fit for purpose
• Build positive relationships with residents, staff and contractors while representing Bene in a professional manner

About the Role

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager/Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the appearance, presentation and safety of Bene facilities through quality painting and general maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality painting and decorating services across Bene aged care homes, retirement living communities and facilities.
