Wisely Group in Queensland is seeking a Painter Blaster to join the Asset Integrity Structural Remediation crew at the CHPP site. The role involves industrial blast and paint tasks, contributing to plant reliability and availability, with a focus on safety and teamwork.

The ideal candidate holds a Trade Certificate (Cert III in Surface Finishing / Spray Painting / Automotive Refinishing) and has at least 3 years of recent experience.

Formación

• Certificate of Trade required (Cert III) in Surface Finishing/ Spray Painting/ Automotive Refinishing.
• Minimum 3 years of recent industrial blast and paint experience.
• Commitment to safety, teamwork and a proactive approach.

PAINTER BLASTERS.... We Want You!

Painter Blasters are part of a dedicated workforce, known as the Asset Integrity Structural Remediation crew. This crew ensures maintenance tasks are executed at the Coal Handling and Processing Plant. They also provide preventative maintenance to sustain plant reliability and improve plant availability to exceed the CHPP Maintenance and Production performance targets.

Essential:

• Certificate of Trade - Cert III in Surface Finishing/ Spray Painting / Automotive Refinishing
• Min 3yrs recent Industrial Blast and Paint experience
• A positive and proactive approach to safety
• Commitment to working as part of a team
• Strong work ethic

Highly Desirable (or willing to obtain):

• Coal Board Medical
• BMA Core
• Working at Heights
• Confined Spaces
• Gas Test Atmospheres
