Job summary

SRG Global are seeking experienced Painter Blasters to join our team for an upcoming Shutdown in Alcoa, WA. Long-term local work is available for the right candidates. Immediate positions within 17/08/2026 to 11/09/2026 (Pre-Shut) and 13/11/2026 to 22/09/2026 (Shutdown) offer 10- and 12-hour days respectively.

A high-performing crew environment and competitive rates await. Successful applicants will have 3–5 years trade experience, relevant certifications, a current White Card, a valid driver’s

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years relevant trade experience as Painter Blaster.
• Certificate III in Surface Preparation and Coating Application is desirable.
• Current Working at Heights (within 2 years) and Confined Spaces (within 2 years) are preferred.
• High Risk Work Licence: LF and EWP are desirable.
• White Card and a valid Driver’s Licence are required.
• Asbestos Handling License is highly regarded, and site medical testing must be passed.

• Hours: Pre-Shut (10 Hour Days)
• Start: 17/08/2026
• Duration: 13/11/2026 – 22/09/2026
• Hours: Shutdown (12 Hour Days)
• Start: 13/11/2026

The successful applicant will have:

• Minimum 3 – 5 years relevant trade experience as Painter Blaster
• Relevant Trade Qualification – Certificate III in Surface Preparation and Coating Application (desirable)
