Job summary

Engineering Trades Australia seeks experienced Painter/Blaster for a major mining project based in Cape Preston. FIFO from Perth, 2:1 roster; 11.5 hours paid per day.

Immediate start dates available with ongoing rostered work and meals & accommodation provided at camp. Ideal candidates have sandblasting, painting and protective coatings experience within mining or construction, can read technical docs, and hold a White Card plus a current manual driver's license.

Qualifications

• Experience in sandblasting, painting, and protective coatings within mining, resources, or construction industries.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation
• Knowledge of hand and power tools and workshop equipment
• Previous FIFO experience (preferred)
• Experience applying Alocit 28 products (highly desirable)
• White card
• Current Manual Driver License
• Working at Heights
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical and D&A

Responsibilities

• Sandblasting, painting and protective coatings on mining/construction projects.
