Job summary

SRG Global are seeking Trade qualified First Class Sheet Metal Workers and experienced Laggers/Insulators to join our team in Alcoa for an upcoming Shutdown at Wagerup. Long-term work is available for the right candidates. If you’re ready to be part of a high-performing crew — this is the role for you!

Immediate positions include 17/08/2026 to 11/09/2026 with 10 hour days pre-shut and 13/09/2026 to 22/09/2026 with 12 hour days during shutdown. Weekly pay and stable local work are provided.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years relevant trade experience.
• Trade qualification – Light Fabrication for sheet metal work.
• Current Working at Heights (within 2 years).
• Current Confined Spaces (within 2 years).
• High Risk Work Licence: LF and EWP (Desirable).
• White Card.
• Valid Driver’s Licence.
• Asbestos Handling Licence (highly regarded).
• Ability to pass site medical testing requirements.

The successful applicant will have:

• Minimum 3 – 5 years relevant trade experience
• Relevant Trade Qualification – Light Fabrication (for first class sheet metal workers)
• Current Working at Heights (within 2 years)
