Job summary

Synergie is seeking an experienced and motivated Industrial Painter to join our Paintshop team at our Kingsford facility in South Australia. You will prepare and paint structural steel and fabricated products to a high standard, with responsibilities including surface preparation, spray painting, applying coatings, inspecting finished work, and maintaining a safe, tidy work area.

We offer Monday to Friday shift 6:00am to 2:30pm, ongoing employment in a well-established Australian manufacturing

Qualifications

This is a great opportunity for a skilled painter who takes pride in delivering high-quality finishes and wants to be part of a well-established Australian manufacturing business.

The Role

Working within our busy Paintshop, you will be responsible for preparing and painting a range of structural steel and fabricated products to a high standard.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing steel and fabricated components for painting
• Industrial spray painting and application of protective coatings
• Mixing and applying paints and coatings in accordance with specifications
• Inspecting finished work to ensure quality standards are met
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area
• Following workplace health and safety procedures
• Working as part of a supportive production team

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience in industrial painting or spray painting
• Can demonstrate a strong eye for detail and quality
• Understands surface preparation and coating application
• Is reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work
• Can work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Is committed to maintaining a safe workplace

Relevant trade qualifications and experience in structural steel or manufacturing environments will be highly regarded.
