Job summary

Painter & Decorator

For this full-time position, you will:

• Perform high-quality painting, surface preparation, and finishing on various surfaces, ensuring attention to detail and a flawless finish.
• Apply protective coatings, sealants, and other products according to manufacturer specifications.
• Work efficiently as part of a team to meet project deadlines.
• Collaborate with the Project Management team to maintain clear communication on progress and challenges.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and ensure a clean and organised work environment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year post training experience in painting and decorating, with expertise in both interior and exterior projects.
• Qualifications in Painting and Decorating (Certificate III or equivalent preferred).
• Proven experience in commercial, residential, and/or industrial painting.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transport.
• Functional English
• Qualification may be substituted with relevant work experience as part of the Recognition of Prior Learning process.

Annual earnings for full time, permanent employees: $79,423 - $83,394 per year plus 12% Superannuation
