Job summary

Ayers Rock Resort is looking for a FIFO Painter to work on-site at Yulara, NT, 20 minutes from Uluru. An experienced Experience Painter with a Certificate III Painting and Decorating is required to work across domestic and commercial projects in our Technical Services team.

You will enjoy a 3:1 work model, fortnightly tool allowance, and direct flights from Yulara to Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne. Free contractor camp accommodation with meals is provided, plus access to an onsite gym and

• Certificate III Painting and Decorating required.
• Experience in domestic and commercial environments.
• Australian Open Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Comply with health and safety instructions from management and WHS reps.
• Carry out painting and decorating activities as required.
• Alert the Team Leader to any painting or decorating issues or improvements.
• Maintain accurate records in the preventive maintenance schedule.

Are you looking for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity? Ayers Rock Resort is searching for a FIFO Painter to work onsite at Yulara, NT which is 20 min drive from Uluru, one of Australia's most iconic and culturally significant landmarks.

We're seeking an Experience Painter with a Certificate III Painting and Decorating, who has experience in both domestic and commercial work environments. This role provides you with an opportunity to work on diverse jobs as our Technical Services team are the trades people of Yulara.

You will have the opportunity to become a true specialist in the field as the closest contracting partner is 5 hours away!

We are extremely committed to the safety of our employees, guests and community who visit town, this also needs to be a strong focus of you too! As our town is spread across a large range of land, a Valid Australian Open Driver's License is required for all our trades roles.

Key Duties

• Comply with all reasonable instructions given in the interests of Health and Safety by your management team and Workplace Health and Safety Department representatives.


• Carry out all necessary painting and decorating activities as required;


• Alert the Painting Team Leader about any painting or decorating found wanting or in which improvements can be made; and


• Maintain accurate records in the preventive maintenance schedule and other relevant documents
