Job summary

Coolibah Care is seeking a Painter to beautify and maintain our facilities, enhancing a homelike and uplifting environment for residents, staff and visitors.

You will be responsible for internal and external painting, with a focus on safety, quality, and resident comfort, while managing multiple projects and interacting respectfully with residents and families.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in painting with at least 2 years post-qualification experience.
• Proven track record of high-quality painting and decorating with an eye for detail.
• Strong knowledge of painting techniques, surface preparation, and safety practices.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects efficiently.
• Good physical fitness for manual tasks such as moving furniture and ladder use.
• Excellent communication skills and consumer-focused approach.
• Current National Police Clearance.
• Up-to-date COVID-19 and influenza vaccinations (highly recommended).

• Preparing surfaces with care, including plaster patching and sanding for long-lasting results.
