Job summary

ReSource Pty Ltd in Melbourne’s Keilor East is seeking final-year or Masters engineering interns for a 12-week full-time program in Summer 2026-27. You will join a two-person team to build an automated imaging and identification station for IT equipment, combining hardware and software to capture assets and feed data into RazorERP.

You will prototype with a Sony camera, develop a robust vision pipeline, and work on system handover including documentation and operator training.

Qualifications

• Final-year or Masters students and recent graduates with complementary strengths in engineering fields.
• Strong Python, computer-vision and API integration skills; hardware prototyping capability is valued.
• Showcase what you have built, how you tested it and what you learned when it did not work.

Responsibilities

• Build an operational multi-camera imaging and identification station for IT equipment.
• Develop the vision pipeline with image capture, background removal, OCR and barcode reading.
• Integrate with RazorERP for asset recording and ensure reliable data posting.
• Deliver tested hardware/software, build and maintenance documentation, and operator training.
