Job summary

Connect2Care is seeking Speech Pathologists for a mobile role servicing clients across Sydney and regional Australia. You will join a multidisciplinary team delivering evidence-based services via telehealth, community visits, and centre-based sessions. Referrals come from NDIS, Medicare, or private sources.

The New Grad Program supports graduates with a 12-month structured plan including induction, supervision and ongoing development.

Qualifications

• Requirements include tertiary qualifications and professional registration.
• Checks include WWCC, NDIS screening, and police checks.
• Drivers licence and vehicle access are required, plus insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assess and provide interventions for children and adults with disabilities.
• Work within the NDIS to maximise function, capacity and social engagement.
• Assist clients with assistive technology assessment and applications.
• Timely documentation and report writing.
• Manage a varied caseload.
• Meet professional expectations (billables and client management).
• Attend meetings, supervision and personal development as required.
• Build relationships with therapists, clients and referral sources.
• Work across leading software platforms and online tools.

The Role

As a therapist at Connect2Care, you will be joining a multidisciplinary team. You will provide evidence-based services to people through multiple service delivery models, including telehealth, community visits and centre-based services. Referrals may come through the NDIS, Medicare or privately. It is a mobile role, with the option to work from home or our hubs when not seeing clients. The role will involve the following:

• Assessing and providing interventions for children & adults living with a range of disabilities
• Working within the NDIS to maximise clients' level of function, capacity & social engagement
• Assisting clients with assistive technology assessment, recommendations and applications (in relevant fields)
• Timely documentation & report writing
• Managing a varied caseload
• Meeting company professional expectations (e.g. meeting billables & effective client management)
• Attending meetings, supervision & personal development (as required)
• Building relationships with key stakeholders, including therapists, clients, & referral sources
• Working across leading software platforms & online tools

The New Grad Program

Connect2Care has developed and specifically tailored a New Graduate Program to make the transition smoother for new graduates entering the workplace. • Relevant tertiary qualifications in related field
• Discipline-specific professional registration (e.g. AHPRA/SPA)
• Working with Children Check (WWCC or Blue Card)
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Police Check & International Police Check (only applicable to individuals who have lived overseas)
• Drivers licence & access to a reliable vehicle
