Responsibilities

• Enjoy a varied paediatric caseload, supporting children with speech, language, literacy, social communication and fluency differences and difficulties.
• Build your assessment and therapy skills through practical experience, clinical discussions and ongoing mentoring.
• Work in both clinic and school settings, developing strong relationships with children, families and educators.
• Develop your parent-coaching skills, supporting families to feel confident in helping their child’s communication grow.
• Collaborate with teachers and education support staff, sharing practical strategies that support communication, participation and learning.
• Deliver creative and engaging therapy, including opportunities to be involved in school-based Speech Therapy Assistant Program.
• Explore group-based therapy, working alongside another speech pathologist to implement language and social communication programs.
