Job summary

Community Therapy in Newcastle is seeking a Paediatric Speech Pathologist to join our growing team in the Hunter region. This role offers flexible part-time or full-time work (minimum 3 days per week) and a supportive environment with 1:1 mentoring and a multi-disciplinary team.

You will deliver mobile paediatric assessments and interventions to children in homes and schools, collaborating with families and professionals to improve outcomes in the community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Speech Pathology and SPA membership eligibility.
• Current driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Valid WWCC, NDISWC and National Police Check clearance (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based, mobile Speech Pathology assessments and interventions directly in clients' homes, schools and communities.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary, consumer-directed framework alongside OTs, Physios, DTs, and families.
• Manage your clinical caseload efficiently with strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Communicate effectively (written and verbal) with clients, families, schools, external stakeholders and internal team members.
• Actively engage in team meetings, peer learning, and multidisciplinary case consultations.
