Job summary

SA Health in Victor Harbor invites a Speech Pathologist to join the Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network. You will manage a diverse paediatric caseload for children aged 0-7 years, delivering assessment, intervention and therapy services in a collaborative setting with multidisciplinary professionals.

The role offers flexibility in a temporary contract through to 28 January 2028, part-time 0.6 FTE (22.5 hours/week), with a salary range of AUD 94,997–110,052 per annum and a supportive

Qualifications

• Deliver high-quality assessment, intervention and therapy services for children aged 0-7 years.
• Develop and implement individualised, outcome-focused care plans with families and carers.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate care.
• Provide clinical guidance to allied health assistants, students and junior staff.
• Contribute to quality improvement and evidence-based practice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality assessment, intervention and therapy services for children aged 0-7 years, supporting communication, development and participation.
• Develop and implement individualised, outcome-focused care plans in partnership with children, families and carers.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, community partners and service providers to coordinate effective and integrated care.
• Provide clinical guidance and support to allied health assistants, students and less experienced staff as appropriate.
• Contribute to quality improvement, service development and evidence-based practice initiatives that enhance outcomes for children and families.
