Job summary

SA Health in Victor Harbor is seeking a Speech Pathologist to deliver comprehensive assessment and therapy for paediatric clients aged 0-7 years within a supportive multidisciplinary team. The role offers valuable opportunities to influence early intervention and child development outcomes.

You will develop individualized care plans, collaborate with families, schools and healthcare professionals, and contribute to service improvement while mentoring students and assistants.

• Qualified Speech Pathologist with eligibility to practice in Australia.
• Experience delivering assessment, intervention and therapy for paediatric clients 0-7 years.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and provide guidance to juniors.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality assessment, intervention and therapy services for children aged 0-7 years, supporting communication, development and participation.
• Develop and implement individualised, outcome-focused care plans in partnership with children, families and carers.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, community partners and service providers to coordinate effective and integrated care.
• Provide clinical guidance and support to allied health assistants, students and less experienced staff as appropriate.
• Contribute to quality improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives to enhance outcomes for children and families.
