Job summary

Square One Therapy Hub is a small, family-owned allied health clinic supporting children and families through the NDIS. We are seeking an experienced Speech Pathologist who is confident working independently, with true clinical autonomy and a supportive clinic environment.

The role covers paediatric speech pathology for NDIS and private clients, with caseload ownership, assessments, planning, and NDIS documentation. Strong clinical reasoning and family-centred care are valued.

Qualifications

• Degree in Speech Pathology and SPA membership or eligibility.
• Minimum 1 year of paediatric speech pathology experience preferred; flexible for strong skills.
• WWCC and Australian work authorisation required.

Responsibilities

• Provide paediatric speech pathology services to NDIS participants and private clients.
• Independently manage your own caseload and plan therapy.
• Complete assessments, therapy planning, progress reports, and NDIS documentation.
• Liaise with families, schools, support coordinators, and other stakeholders.
• Collaborate with OT and Physiotherapy colleagues while maintaining professional independence.

The Role

• Provide paediatric speech pathology services to NDIS participants and privately paying clients.

• Independently manage your own caseload.

• Complete assessments, therapy planning, progress reports, and NDIS documentation.

• Clinical areas may include speech, language, AAC, social communication, feeding, and literacy (based on your strengths).

• Liaise with families, schools, support coordinators, and other stakeholders.

• Collaborate closely with OT and Physiotherapy colleagues while maintaining professional independence.

About You

• Degree in Speech Pathology.

• SPA membership (or eligibility).

• Minimum 1 year of paediatric speech pathology experience required; however, this may be flexible for candidates with strong relevant skills.

• Strong clinical reasoning, time management, and communication skills.

• Values family-centred, evidence-based practice.

• WWCC (or willingness to obtain).

• Australian work authorisation is required for this role.
