Boom Kids Clinic | Werribee & Footscray, Melbourne VIC
Love paediatrics? Love thinking outside the box? Want to work somewhere that genuinely invests in you?
We are just be the team you've been looking for!
At Boom Kids Clinic, we're passionate about helping children thrive, supporting families and creating those little (and BIG!) moments that make all the difference.
We're looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Paediatric Speech Pathologist to join our growing Victorian team, working across our Werribee and Footscray clinics!
This is an exciting opportunity to help shape and grow our Speech Pathology services in Victoria, while being supported by an established multidisciplinary team across two states.
Whether you're an experienced paediatric Speech Pathologist looking for your next opportunity or a clinician ready to take the next step in your career, we'd love to hear from you.
Boom Kids Clinic brings together the experience and expertise of D.O.T.S. OT for Children in Victoria and South West Kids Clinic in NSW.
Together, we're a multidisciplinary team of Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Physiotherapists and Dietitians, working collaboratively to help children and young people reach their potential.
We believe great therapy happens when passionate people are supported to do what they do best.
That means investing in our team, encouraging new ideas, celebrating successes and creating a workplace where people genuinely enjoy coming to work.
You’ll be working with children and young people with a variety of communication, developmental and neurological needs, including children with:
Autism Spectrum Disorder
Developmental language disorders and language delays
Speech sound disorders
Social communication differences
Literacy difficulties
Childhood apraxia of speech
Cerebral Palsy and neurological conditions
Complex communication needs and disabilities
You’ll have opportunities to provide meaningful, evidence-informed therapy that makes a real difference to children's everyday lives.
Your role may include individual therapy, multidisciplinary intervention, school and community visits, early language development, speech sound intervention, literacy support, social communication, AAC and supporting children to achieve their functional communication goals.
Our Victorian clinics currently support a large number of neurodivergent children and young people, with opportunities to work with children who have more complex communication and developmental needs.
We’re also excited to support therapists who have particular clinical interests, whether that’s early intervention, school‑aged language and literacy, AAC, feeding or complex paediatric presentations.
We want you to develop a career around what you're passionate about, not fit into a one-size-fits-all caseload!
Because we believe looking after our team is just as important as looking after our families!
Here’s what you can look forward to:
A genuinely multidisciplinary team where collaboration is part of everyday practice.
Clinical supervision and mentoring to support your confidence, skills and professional growth.
Experienced Speech Pathology mentors and clinical leaders in NSW providing opportunities for regular collaboration, shared learning and professional support.
Unlimited professional development budget for approved learning opportunities that align with your interests and career goals.
Flexible working arrangements because we know life exists outside work!
A varied paediatric caseload with opportunities to develop your own clinical interests.
Well‑equipped clinics and therapy resources to support creative, engaging therapy.
An experienced Client Connection Team to assist with bookings, administration and the day‑to‑day running of the clinic.
Opportunities to grow as our Speech Pathology services continue to develop across Victoria.
A team that celebrates together! Connection, collaboration and memorable moments are part of who we are.
We’re looking for someone who:
Is passionate about working with children and families.
Loves being creative and finding engaging ways to deliver therapy.
Enjoys collaborating with other allied health professionals.
Is confident in their clinical reasoning and enjoys sharing knowledge and ideas.
Is motivated to continue learning and developing their skills.
Values relationships, teamwork and making a genuine difference.
Holds a recognised Speech Pathology qualification and is eligible for membership with Speech Pathology Australia.
Experience in paediatrics is highly regarded, and we’d particularly love to hear from experienced Speech Pathologists who are excited about helping to grow a developing service.
Most importantly, we’re looking for the right person who shares our values and wants to grow with us.
Our Victorian Speech Pathology team is still growing, and this is an exciting time to be part of it!
You’ll be joining our existing Victorian Speech Pathologist, working across our Werribee and Footscray clinics, with the opportunity to contribute your ideas, experience and clinical interests as we continue expanding our services.
And while you’ll be helping grow something new, you certainly won’t be doing it alone!
You’ll have regular support and mentoring from our experienced Speech Pathology team in Sydney, with opportunities for collaboration, shared learning and professional development across both states.
We’re looking for someone who is excited by the opportunity to help shape a growing service, while enjoying the support, resources and collaboration of an established multidisciplinary team.
If you’re looking for a workplace where you can make a difference, continue learning and be part of something exciting, we’d love to meet you!
