Job summary

Boom Kids Clinic in Melbourne, VIC is hiring two Paediatric Physiotherapists to help establish our new Victorian services. You will join a multidisciplinary team, work with children with a range of needs, and contribute to growth across two clinics in Bundoora and Werribee/Footscray.

You'll provide evidence-informed therapy, mentor with experienced leaders, and have opportunities for interstate collaboration and professional development in a supportive, family-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Physiotherapy qualification and current AHPRA registration.
• Experience in paediatrics is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to collaborate with other allied health professionals.

Responsibilities

• Provide paediatric physiotherapy to children with diverse needs.
• Deliver individual therapy and multidisciplinary interventions.
• Conduct school and community visits and offer equipment recommendations.
• Support gross motor development and functional goals.

Boom Kids Clinic brings together the experience and expertise of D.O.T.S. OT for Children in Victoria and South West Kids Clinic in NSW.

Together, we're a multidisciplinary team of Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Physiotherapists and Dietitians, working collaboratively to help children and young people reach their potential.

What will you be doing?

You’ll be working with children and young people with a variety of physical, developmental and neurological needs, including children with:

• Cerebral Palsy
• Down Syndrome
• Spina Bifida
• Autism Spectrum Disorder
• Acquired Brain Injuries
• Developmental delays
• Neuromuscular conditions
• Complex physical disabilities and medical needs

You’ll have opportunities to provide meaningful, evidence-informed therapy that makes a real difference to children's everyday lives.

Your role may include individual therapy, multidisciplinary intervention, school and community visits, equipment recommendations, gross motor development, rehabilitation and supporting children to achieve functional goals.

We’re also excited to support therapists who have a particular interest in complex paediatric rehabilitation and want to continue developing their skills in this area.

Two positions. One exciting opportunity to grow with Boom!

We’re establishing our physiotherapy team in Victoria and have two positions available:

• Bundoora: Based at our Bundoora clinic, working alongside our established multidisciplinary team.
• Werribee & Footscray: A position shared across our Werribee and Footscray clinics, collaborating with our teams at both locations.

As our first two Victorian Physiotherapists, you’ll have a unique opportunity to help shape the future of physiotherapy at Boom Kids Clinic.

And while you’ll be helping establish something new, you certainly won’t be doing it alone!

You’ll have regular support and mentoring from our experienced Physiotherapy Team Leaders in Sydney, with opportunities to travel interstate for training, collaboration and professional development.
