Job summary

Hinterland Children's Therapy in Maudsland, QLD, is seeking an experienced paediatric Speech Pathologist to join our small, multidisciplinary clinic on a farm. Full-time or 4 days/week (36 hrs) with a capped caseload and admin time built in.

You’ll work with children aged 0–12 (NDIS-funded), collaborate with OT and physio colleagues, and enjoy a play-based, relationship-first approach in a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Tertiary degree in Speech Pathology.
• Membership with Speech Pathology Australia.
• Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance.
• Current Police Certificate and Working with Children Check.
• Current driver's licence and own vehicle.

Hinterland Children's Therapy - Maudsland QLD

This isn't a suburban waiting room. It's a small, multidisciplinary paediatric clinic on a farm in Guanaba, 10 minutes from Oxenford and Nerang. Horses, dogs, creek access, outdoor therapy spaces, and fresh air. If you've been doing great clinical work in a setting that drains you, this is the opposite of that. Hinterland Children's Therapy is looking for an experienced paediatric Speech Pathologist to join our team full-time or 4 days per week (36 hrs)

The role

You'll work with children aged 0 to 12, primarily NDIS-funded, across a range of presentations. Your caseload is capped, your days are structured with admin time built in (not squeezed into lunch), and you'll have your own fully equipped therapy room. Our approach is play-based, relationship-first, and person-centred. You'll have real opportunity to collaborate with OT and physio colleagues on joint sessions and interdisciplinary goals. This is a full-time position (5 days per week). Part-time (4 days per week) considered for the right applicant.

You are 3 or more years post-graduation and confident working independently with paediatric NDIS clients. You are warm with families, thorough in your documentation, and interested in growing your practice in a non-traditional setting. You want to be part of a small team that cares about quality, not volume.
