Job summary

Community Therapy is recruiting Paediatric Occupational Therapists for a new graduate program in the Hunter region (Newcastle). The role supports new graduates with 1:1 mentoring and a diverse caseload across home, school, and community settings.

You will join the largest community allied health team in the region, enjoying flexible hours, CPD allowances, and clear career pathways in a supportive, culture-first environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Occupational Therapy and eligibility for AHPRA is required.
• Experience with paediatric populations is beneficial.
• Strong communication and collaboration with families and schools.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based paediatric occupational therapy assessments and interventions in clients' homes, schools, and communities.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support children and families.
• Manage a clinical caseload with strong organisation and time management.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, schools, and stakeholders.
• Participate in team meetings, peer learning, and case consultations.
