Job summary

Avina is seeking a Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team across Brisbane North and the Moreton Bay region. You’ll work with children and young people in home, school, community and telehealth settings to build functional skills, independence and confidence in daily living.

This localised role offers flexible community and hybrid working, structured clinical supervision, and opportunities to develop paediatric clinical interests with Avina’s national network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Occupational Therapy.
• Current AHPRA registration or eligibility.
• Interest in or experience working with children and young people.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Collaborative and person-centred approach.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain.
• Driver's licence and reliable vehicle for community work.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-informed paediatric Occupational Therapy assessments and intervention.
• Support functional, sensory, motor and emotional regulation goals.
• Develop person-centred therapy plans aligned with participant and family goals.
• Work flexibly across home, school, community and telehealth settings.
• Collaborate with families, educators, support networks and multidisciplinary colleagues.
• Manage your caseload and schedule with flexibility and autonomy.
• Participate in supervision, peer learning and professional development.
