Job summary

Child and Adolescent Health Service is seeking a suitably experienced Clinical Nurse in paediatric oncology/haematology. Working in partnership with the Clinical Nurse Specialist – Clinical Trials and Research, you will deliver high quality patient-centred nursing care within clinical trials and research.

Responsibilities

• Provide education, support, and clinical guidance to patients and families participating in clinical trials and research, ensuring understanding of treatment protocols and care requirements.
• Develop and deliver education to nursing staff across inpatient and ambulatory care settings on clinical trials and research practices.
• Act as a clinical resource for staff regarding research protocols, trial procedures, and patient care requirements.
• Support the safe and compliant implementation of clinical trials in accordance with governance, ethical, and regulatory requirements.
