Job summary

NSW Health in Sydney seeks a Clinical Trial Coordinator / Registered Nurse (Clinical Research) to coordinate high-quality oncology trials at The Kinghorn Cancer Centre. You will screen and recruit participants, manage trial visits, and ensure data integrity under ICH-GCP.

The role combines nursing care with trial coordination, requiring RN registration with AHPRA or progress toward clinical research qualifications, strong communication, and time management skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration or working towards clinical research qualifications.
• Experience in secure trial data management and data collection.
• Knowledge of HREC and RGO submissions.
• Experience in Oncology/Haematology trial settings.
• Ability to manage competing workloads and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centred clinical trials at Kinghorn Cancer Centre.
• Support safe conduct per study protocols and ICH-GCP, meeting regulatory requirements.
• Screen participants, recruit, schedule visits, educate patients and staff, collect data, coordinate samples, monitor visits, and address data queries.
• Maintain communication with patients, families, sponsors and partners; contribute to quality improvement and research capacity.
• Provide evidence-based nursing care for trial participants including assessment, care planning, delegation within scope.
