Job summary

NSW Health's Sydney Children's Hospital, Randwick, is seeking a New Graduate Occupational Therapist Level 1 to support a transition into paediatric practice. The role involves providing clinical services to inpatients and outpatients, using evidence-based, family-centred care and holistic OT models.

You’ll engage in ongoing education, supervision and professional development within a dynamic multidisciplinary team in a two-year graduate program.

Qualifications

• The Occupational Therapist Level 1 (New Graduate) position is aimed at providing a supported transition into professional practice as a paediatric occupational therapist.
• Participation is expected in ongoing education, teaching, evidence based practice and quality improvement activities.

Responsibilities

• The occupational therapist will provide clinical services to inpatients and/or outpatients referred to Occupational Therapy.
• The occupational therapist will provide evidence-based care within a multidisciplinary and family centred context, and utilise holistic occupational therapy models of care.
