Job summary

Neta Care Holistic Health Services is seeking a Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our Brookwater team. You will assess, plan, and deliver evidence-based interventions for children across clinic, home, school, and community settings.

The role offers dedicated PD funding, salary packaging, and on-site facilities. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and support families with practical home strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current AHPRA registration.
• Minimum 6 months' clinical paediatric experience.
• Solid understanding of child development and OT practice.
• Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
• Collaborative mindset and genuine passion for helping kids thrive.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical OT services with a sustainable therapy hour target of 25 Therapy Hours/Week.
• Co-design meaningful therapy goals with children, parents, and carers.
• Develop and deliver individualised, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Support fine/gross motor development, sensory processing, emotional regulation, self-care, play, and social/school participation.
• Track progress and adapt plans as needed.
• Coach and support families with practical home strategies.
• Recommend adaptive equipment, assistive technology, and environmental modifications.
• Liaise with support coordinators, educators, and other healthcare professionals for coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and prepare professional reports.

The Role

As a Paediatric OT, you'll support children and young people with diverse developmental, functional, and disability-related needs. You'll assess, plan, and deliver individualised, evidence-based interventions — working closely with children, families, carers, educators, and other allied health professionals across clinic, home, school, and community settings.
