Job summary

Avina is seeking a Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team in Brisbane North and the Moreton Bay region. You’ll build a flexible caseload across home, school, community and telehealth settings, focusing on functional skills and independence for children and young people.

You’ll work within a supportive, multidisciplinary network, with structured supervision and ongoing professional development, in a hybrid model that balances local client load with broader national resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Occupational Therapy required.
• Current AHPRA registration or eligibility.
• Interest in or experience with children and young people.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-informed paediatric occupational therapy assessments and interventions.
• Support functional, sensory, motor and emotional regulation goals.
• Develop person-centred therapy plans aligned with participant and family goals.
• Work flexibly across home, school, community and telehealth settings.

Depending on where you're based, your caseload could include areas such as Chermside, Aspley, Carseldine, Bridgeman Downs, Albany Creek, Strathpine, Brendale, Warner, Petrie, Kallangur, Mango Hill, North Lakes and surrounding suburbs.

While our broader service area covers Brisbane's northern corridor, you won't be expected to travel across the entire region. Wherever possible, we'll build your caseload around where you live, helping keep travel practical and giving you genuine flexibility over your working week.

You'll work with children and young people across a mix of home, school, community and telehealth settings, supporting them to build functional skills, independence and confidence in everyday life.

Build a Paediatric Caseload That Works for You You'll support children and families across a varied NDIS caseload, with opportunities to work across areas including sensory and emotional regulation, motor development, functional independence, daily living skills and participation at home, school and in the community.

What You’ll Bring
