Job summary

Queensland Health is seeking a Clinical Practice Facilitator for Children’s Health Queensland Hospital and Health Service in Brisbane. The role supports learning, leadership and clinical education across paediatric services, aligning with the CHQ Leadership Excellence Framework.

The fixed-term, part-time position offers opportunities to coach staff, apply best-practice teaching and manage education portfolios within a high-acuity paediatric ward.

Qualifications

• NMBA registration required and adherence to nursing practice standards.
• Professional leadership and clinical teaching abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coach and support others to deliver care for children, young people and families.
• Adhere to established guidelines and standards of the Learning and Workforce Development division, CHQHHS and Department of Health, Queensland.
• Act as a clinical and educational resource within paediatric focus areas.
• Integrate advanced knowledge and evidence to achieve care outcomes for patients aligned with organisational priorities.
• Lead clinically with integrity, transparency and accountability.
