Job summary

Children's Health Queensland Hospital and Health Service (CHQ HHS) seeks a Leader of Others to coach and support nursing teams, in accordance with the CHQ Leadership Excellence Framework and Queensland Public Service values.

You will model professional practice, lead education and outcomes across domains of direct care, systems, education, research, and professional leadership, and foster pathways for children’s health across CHQ and partner services.

Qualifications

• Adhere to established guidelines, protocols, procedures, standards, and systems of work as set out by the Learning and Workforce Development division, CHQHHS and Department of Health, Queensland.
• Act as a clinical and educational resource within an area based on knowledge, skills, and experience to inform evidence-based practice.

Responsibilities

• Direct comprehensive care and accountability for nursing practice outcomes.
• Support systems and ensure alignment with NMBA standards and organisational guidelines.
• Provide education and act as a clinical and educational resource for the team.
• Integrate knowledge to inform evidence-based patient care and drive outcomes.
• Lead professionally with integrity, transparency and accountability.
