Talent Focus is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) in Brisbane. You will ensure safe recovery after surgery, collaborate with the surgical team, and deliver patient-centered care in a fast-paced setting.

You will monitor patients, manage pain, provide education to families, and participate in ongoing professional development to uphold best practices in post-anesthesia care.

Qualifikationen

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
• ALS certification and relevant PACU experience preferred.
• Strong critical thinking and communication in fast-paced care.

Aufgaben

• Assess and monitor patients recovering from anesthesia and surgery.
• Administer medications and treatments to manage pain and comfort.
• Monitor vital signs and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and families.
• Collaborate to develop individualized post-operative care plans.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records.
• Adhere to hospital policies, procedures and safety protocols.
• Engage in ongoing education to stay current in post-anesthesia care.
