Job summary

MECCA is seeking a Packaging Sourcing Specialist to lead end-to-end packaging development, from concept through to production, collaborating with suppliers globally to deliver premium, sustainable packaging that reflects our brands.

You'll work closely with the Senior Product Manager and cross-functional teams to drive innovations, manage testing and regulatory requirements (including TGA where applicable), and champion circular design across our portfolios.

Qualifications

• Experience in packaging development within beauty, FMCG or a similar industry.
• Strong knowledge of packaging materials, manufacturing processes and supplier management.
• Experience managing multiple development projects with exceptional organisation and attention to detail.
• Understanding of packaging testing, quality and regulatory requirements, including TGA and global compliance.
• A passion for sustainable packaging, circular design and material innovation, paired with strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end packaging development across a portfolio, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to the highest quality standards.
• Develop innovative, customer-first packaging solutions that balance design, functionality, sustainability and commercial outcomes.
• Partner with Product Development, Design, Compliance, Brand, Supply Chain and external suppliers to bring new products to market.
• Manage packaging testing, technical specifications, artwork approvals and regulatory compliance, including TGA requirements where applicable.
• Champion sustainable packaging innovation by identifying new materials, monitoring emerging legislation and driving continuous improvement.
