Job summary

Brown Family Wine Group is seeking a Packaging Operator to join the Milawa production team on a full-time, permanent basis. You will operate and monitor packaging lines, perform quality checks and maintain accurate records while supporting continuous improvement and safety.

The role requires flexible shift availability, a proactive team approach, and attention to detail to ensure high-quality packaging of our wines. Experience in manufacturing and reliable transport are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in a production/manufacturing setting.
• Focus on quality and safety procedures.
• Computer literacy for records and processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor and maintain packaging equipment.
• Set up lines and replenish products and components.
• Perform quality checks per HACCP/SQF procedures.
• Complete production and quality documentation accurately.
• Support line efficiency and minimise waste.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace.
• Assist with hand packaging and rework as needed.
• Adhere to food safety and WHS standards.

Job Description

The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Packaging Operator to join our Production team based in Milawa in a full-time, permanent basis.

Working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, you will be responsible for operating a range of packaging equipment to ensure our wines are packaged safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who enjoys working as part of a team, takes pride in producing quality outcomes and has a strong focus on safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, clean and maintain packaging equipment.
• Set up packaging lines and replenish products and components as required.
• Conduct quality checks in accordance with procedures, HACCP and SQF requirements.
• Complete production and quality documentation accurately.
• Support continuous line efficiency and minimise waste.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment.
• Perform hand packaging and rework activities as required.
• Adhere to food safety, quality and workplace health and safety standards.
