Job summary

Lion is seeking an experienced packaging/production leader to oversee our can packaging operation at The Pride, with accountability for safety, people, maintenance, productivity and performance.

This leadership role offers visibility across a high-volume site, a team of four direct reports, and opportunities to grow into future Packaging leadership roles through continuous improvement and TPM/Lean practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in FMCG packaging or high-volume packaging.
• Proven ability to lead change and improve performance.
• Experience developing frontline leaders.
• Comfort coordinating a 24-hour operation across shifts.
• Exposure to TPM, Lean or similar CI methodologies.
• Relevant technical, engineering or manufacturing qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead a packaging operation team across a 24-hour, 5-day operation.
• Drive productivity, reliability and performance to meet production requirements.
• Oversee safety, maintenance, budgets and overall operation of can packaging lines.
• Develop frontline leaders and coach teams to grow leadership capability.
• Identify opportunities and deliver sustainable continuous improvements.
