Job summary

Tango Group International is seeking an experienced Packaging & Graphic Designer to join our Braeside team. This on-site, full-time role centers on end-to-end packaging design and building compelling brand identities for a wide range of retail categories.

You will manage multiple projects, collaborate with product, sourcing, compliance and marketing teams, and contribute to photography and marketing materials. A 5+ year packaging design background and a strong portfolio are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience as a Graphic Designer with strong, hands-on packaging design experience.
• A portfolio showcasing both digital and print design work.
• Strong photography skills—including product styling, studio lighting, and retouching.
• Experience with MYOB Advanced is a plus.
• Strong prepress knowledge and excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage deadlines and work efficiently under pressure.
• A team player with a solutions-focused attitude and openness to feedback.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end packaging design, from concept development through to print-ready artwork.
• Design retail-ready packaging that meets brand, compliance, and commercial requirements.
• Collaborate closely with product, sourcing, compliance, and marketing teams to deliver packaging on time.
• Develop and maintain compelling brand identities and packaging design.
• Create diverse marketing materials including packaging, product photography, social media content, print collateral, EDMs, signage, advertising, and website assets.
• Lead and execute professional product photoshoots, from styling and lighting to editing.
• Collaborate with fellow designers to ensure creative alignment and project success.
• Contribute to building a strong social media presence through impactful visuals.
