Job summary

New Directions Australia in Marrickville, NSW, seeks a Packaging Account Manager to manage end-to-end custom packaging projects from brief to delivery, collaborating with internal teams in our Marrickville office.

You will learn the packaging business from the ground up, supporting day-to-day sales administration, order processing and customer enquiries, before progressively taking ownership of accounts and opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in account management, sales, customer service or project coordination.
• Ability to develop into managing projects and accounts end-to-end.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Sales & Client Service: Respond to enquiries, understand packaging requirements, prepare quotes and follow up to convert orders.
• Project Management: Manage end-to-end packaging projects, coordinating with suppliers, designers and internal teams.
• Account Management: Build long-term client relationships from enquiry to delivery.
• Artwork & Briefing: Prepare clear briefs for Graphic Design using client input.
• Order Processing: Raise quotes, purchase orders, and sales orders using SAP.
• Team Collaboration: Work with internal teams and suppliers to ensure smooth delivery.
• General Customer Support: Handle packaging enquiries, calls and showroom visits.
